• Person centred planning
• Personal Care – toileting, showering, change pads, assistance dressing.
• Assistance getting up and going to bed.
• Assistance walking – walk around the house or go outside to the garden, to the local shops or wherever feasible that the client may wish to go.
• Meal Preparation – preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, checking food is in date.
• Light housework – change linen, dress beds, set and light the fire, general clean of kitchen, bathroom etc.
• Accompany to appointments. Our Health Care Workers will be happy to go to doctors, physio and hospital appointment with their clients. We can also take clients to the hairdresser, to visit friends or whatever appointments the may need to attend.
• Shopping – our staff can get shopping or they can accompany people to the shops and assist.
• Remind people to take medication.
• Assist people to get ready for day care centre visits – arrange for them to take the bus and collect them afterwards.
• Provide company and stimulation; just have a chat to alleviate loneliness and isolation.
